Believe that all of you have been informed of the arrival of the Ship Fuji Maru to Malaysia from the 19th to 22nd of Nov. 2009.

We are looking for Foster Families to host about 300 youths from the 10 ASEAN countries and Japan. KABESA requests you and your friends espiecially those living in and around Klang Valley to apply to become foster families.

Renion On Board (ROB) would be held at 7.00 pm on 21st Nov. on board the New Ship Fuji Maru. You have to register yourself in order to be given a place for the reunion. Places are limited (Only 250 vacancies.) So far about 200 members have registered themselves. And Please remember NOT TO COME LATE. The ROB counter situated outside the ship would be closed at 7.15 pm. Late comers are most probably not allowed to enter the ship for reunion.
Fuji Maru ship will be at Star Cruise terminal, at Port Klang.
Make sure that you have registered to get in to terminal :)

What is SiGA?


SIGA (SSEAYP International Gathering Assembly) which is held annually by SSEAYP International (SI). The venue is rotated among the member countries of SI. Under the theme 'experience the difference', SSEAYP International Indonesia has the honor to host SIGA 2009, which will be held on April 30th- May 3rd 2009 in Jogjakarta.


Who can join?

- Former SSEAYP Paticipant from every batch( ex-PYs), former National Leader(ex-NLs)
- Non- SSEAYP Paticipant (family/friends of ex-PY/ex-NL, host families, participant from other program,guest)


For those MAPY2008 who interested to join SIGA which will be held from 30 Apr - 3 May 2009 at Jogjakarta , Indonesia Please submit your name to Ms. Saridah Mohd Sahid PY 2008 BEFORE/ ON 25th January 2009. All registration must be SUBMIT via SSEAYP INTERNATIONAL MALAYSIA ( KABESA) Main office at IYC,Cheras Kuala Lumpur . Your name will be registered under MAPY 2008 group.

Alhamdulillah, gratitude to the Lord,
the 35th SSEAYP 2008 was finished succesfully,
all Malaysian Participant (MaPY) 2008 arrived home safely on 11 Dec 2008.

Congratulation to all MAPY2008 for the very good job and effort along the 52 days in the programme. Alhamdulillah, we've done our duty and task as the Malaysian Youth Ambassador to represent our country Malaysia at international level. And congratulation for the new friendship with Japan- Southeast Asean relationship:)

A big thanks and high appreciation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and KABESA for gave us this wonderful oppurtunity to us, MAPY2008 and choose us as the representative for Malaysia Youth.

Finally, the 35th SSEAYP is just around the corner! ;)
(see the countdown!:p)

MaPY 2008 are now busy with the last preparations for this once in a lifetime program.
(We're apologize for not updating this blog frequently:p)

We will be departure to Tokyo, Japan on 21st October 2008
and will have a preview on the 'National Day' performances which is open to all guest (MaPY families, sponsor partners, press, etc) before we depart.
